At the head of the Coastal Range and the great Cascade Range of the Sierra Nevada divide lies Mt. Shasta. Topping out at 14,162 feet, this crisp snow-capped silhouette is one of the tallest mountains in North America. The mountain slopes and riparian conduits of the Sierra Cascades are the pipelines to Shasta Lake which has over 350 miles of shoreline.
