Lassen Volcanic National Park was the only active volcano within the continental U.S. until Mt. St. Helens erupted. Mt. Lassen last erupted in 1915. Lassen Peak stands at 10,457 feet and is surrounded by 50 lakes, hot sulphur springs & beautiful waterfalls. You can hike, picnic boat, swim, and fish as well as downhill and cross-country ski in the winter.
